Our Family of Faith

Here in Washington Conference, we embrace and celebrate the rich tapestry of human diversity as a fundamental aspect of our mission and calling. We firmly believe that every individual, regardless of their background, ethnicity, gender, age, ability, or any other characteristic, is a beloved child of God and deserves to be treated with love, respect, and dignity.

Our faith community is committed to being an example of unity in a world often marked by division. With God’s help, we will work to overcome biases, prejudices, and discrimination within our own ranks and in the larger society, working together to create a world where all individuals can live in harmony and seek the Lord according to their conscience.

In Washington Conference, we stand united in our faith, but we also stand united in our commitment to honor the diversity that makes us stronger, more compassionate, and more aligned with the everlasting gospel proclaimed in Rev. 14:6-12 to “every nation, tribe, language and people.” This will give a reliability to our movement as we proclaim the biblical message of hope and wholeness that changes lives and prepares all for the blessed return of Jesus Christ.
