Randy Maxwell Elected President
October 20, 2026
We are pleased to announce that on October 20, 2026, the Washington Conference Executive Committee voted to appoint Pastor Randy Maxwell as the next president of the Washington Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
The selection followed a prayerful process guided by the conference’s Constitution and Bylaws and coordinated with the North Pacific Union Conference. Pastors, teachers, principals, conference staff, church head elders, Board of Education members and Executive Committee members were invited to share the qualities and priorities they hoped to see in the next president and recommend names for consideration.
