June 20 March + Rally

A Sabbath march! Seventh-day Adventist leaders from the Black community in western Washington are planning a peaceful march and rally on June 20 at 10 am to address how to take “A True Sabbath Rest from racism, police brutality, prejudice and injustice… now and through eternity.”

 

A variety of leaders from the African American Adventist community and from the Seventh-day Adventist Church in western Washington will be participating. You are welcome to join.

The March will begin at Emerald City Community SDA Church located at 801 25th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122. The march will follow a five block route to Barnett Park located on the corner of Jefferson Street and Martin Luther King Street.

Please take personal safety precautions in light of COVID-19 concerns by wearing a fabric face mask, keeping physical distance, and bringing a water bottle.
