The Office of the President is tasked with prayerfully and strategically aligning the ministries of western Washington with our mission, vision and values. The Office of the Vice President supports the president in overseeing conference operations, chairing and/or serving on committees, handling personnel placement and managing church records.

Treasury [Top of Page]
The Treasury department provides short- and long-term financial planning; accounting operations such as payroll, benefits, church remittance, and appropriations & subsidies; property management; school and ministry financial advisement; financial reporting to committees; and accountability through audits and financial reviews. Training classes and coaching sessions are available for treasurers.
Human Resources [Top of Page]
Human Resources handles employment opportunities and openings for support staff, employee service records, and background screening for volunteers and employees. Human Resources also manages and updates the conference policy manual.
Communication [Top of Page]
The Communication department distributes messages about the Seventh-day Adventist Church, helps you contribute stories to the Gleaner, distributes Sailing with Jesus (weekly news and event e-newsletter), provides information to bulletin editors, offers marketing and communication coaching, and manages the conference website.

Planned Giving & Trust Services [Top of Page]
Planned Giving & Trust Services assists Seventh-day Adventist members in the preparation, custodianship, consultation and management of a church member's estate documents.
This includes the preparation of a Will and/or Family Living Trust, and also includes ancillary documents such as Durable Power of Attorney, Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care, a Living Will or Health Care Directive and Community Property Agreement.
Planned Giving for the donor may encompass Bequests of Cash, Insurance, Stock and or Real Estate; and Life Income Plans that offer life time income benefits, significant tax deductions and the heart felt satisfaction knowing that a portion of the donor’s estate is guaranteed to support the expression of their core spiritual values in sustaining the ministry and mission of their faith.
