| Evangelism Offering Surpasses Goal |
 |
Washington Conference financial leaders announced today that gifts to the evangelism offering fund surpassed the goal set last year at Washington Adventist Camp Meeting.
Last June, the camp meeting audience gave or pledged $485,039.95 toward a goal of $500,000. This amount includes $204,816.94 contributed at camp meeting and a $100,000 matching challenge. From June 2012 to April 2013, the pledges have been more than fulfilled with contributions totaling $201,497.47.
Our total evangelism gifts in an 11-month period are $506,314.41 or 104.3 percent of the goal! "We praise God for His blessings and the faithfulness of His people," says John Freedman, Washington Conference president. "We look forward to sharing stories of changed lives with you at our next camp meeting on June 20-29." |
| Adventists Assess and Address Needs in Oklahoma |
 |
Our Adventist churches are assessing and addressing immediate and long-term needs after this week's tornadoes in Oklahoma.
Officials in Oklahoma are asking the nation to get ready, but to wait for the first responders to complete their job. While we are respectfully waiting, consider a financial contribution to Adventist Disaster Response or a response agency of your choice.
»Give a gift online at communityservices.org or call 1 (800) 381-7171.
»Pray for the community, first responders, and local churches/schools.

| Give to Sunset Lake's Camper Scholarship Fund |
 |
Every dollar given to the Conference Ministries offering on May 25 will help send children to summer camp. With a gift as small as $5 from each family in Washington Conference, we could raise $30,000 to send at least 150 kids to camp. Let's make a difference together! |
