Adventist educators believe in educating the "whole person" through solid academics, physical development, and spiritual growth. Adventist education is committed to investing in the future of children through providing a safe learning environment, innovative curriculum, modern facilities, professional development support for teachers, and quality measurement processes.
The Seventh-day Adventist education system is the the largest of any Protestant denomination with 65,700 committed Christian teachers in 6,700 schools with 1.25 million students worldwide. Within this network of accredited schools, Washington Conference of Seventh-day Adventists offers 22 learning communities throughout western Washington.
Growing Great Schools
Washington Conference schools address the spiritual and academic culture and climate of our schools by strengthening relationships, providing excellence in education, and improving service.
Christ-centered Campuses
High academic standards, safe social environments and atmospheres that foster spiritual exploration and growth have made Washington schools some of the finest in the nation. We offer our students unconditional acceptance, and the freedom for self-discovery. Students are challenged to dream big, develop confidence, discover a loving God and accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
All schools are accredited by the Seventh-day Adventist church, approved by the State of Washington and a member of the Washington Federation of Independent Schools. Several schools hold additional accreditation from the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools.
ValueGenesis3 Research Explores Faith, Values and Commitments
For the third time in 20 years, the ValueGenesis study explored the faith, values and commitments of Seventh-day Adventist young people.
The findings are interesting to track, and are available in four update reports. Update 1 provides an overview of demographics. Update 2 addresses the grace orientation of students. Update 3 explores the importance of Adventist Education. Update 4 evaluates the role of the Adventist Home and family worship.
